Euxyl declares the
skin a
formaldehyde-free zone
|
"Health risks as a
result of high
formaldehyde concentrations in cosmetics" - in the mid-Eighties this is
a subject that attracts great attention and to which the media make
consumers sensitive. Formaldehyde is still - albeit in low doses - one
of the common ingredients in preservatives e.g. for shampoos, creams
and lotions. But as early as 1978 Schülke & Mayr go
down a completely different route with the development of Euxyl: Euxyl
is not only the first preservative for cosmetics from our company -
Euxyl is also completely formaldehyde-free. That effective and
consumer-orientated preservation of cosmetics without formaldehyde is
possible is proved by the versatile Euxyl product range.
