Welcome to ILMAC 2007, the Industry Exhibition for Research and Development, Environmental and Process Technology in Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals and Biotechnology! For four days ILMAC will be presenting all the industrial applications of process engineering in one place, from research and development, piloting and engineering through to production and waste disposal.

ILMAC takes place in Basel, Europe’s most important center for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, close to the fast-growing biotech regions of Switzerland, Germany and France. More than 3500 companies in the industry, together with numerous universities and technical colleges, are based in the Basel area.

After Paris and Milan, Basel is Europe’s third-largest life science region, employing 27,800 people in the fields of agro-chemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical products. This highly dynamic industry is growing rapidly, has above average productivity levels and is constantly creating new jobs.
