| Outbreak is a new, web-based database with outbreaks in hospitals, nursing homes and outpatient institutions from 1966 on. The database contains almost 1000 outbreaks with more than 120 different causative pathogens, including
148 Staphylococcus outbreaks (of which 107 with MRSA) 127 hepatitis outbreaks 100 Pseudomonas outbreaks 27 HIV outbreaks 8 SARS outbreaks
Actual outbreaks in medical institutions are contained in this database. A structured evaluation permits
a rapid overview specific search questions statistical evaluations
The Outbreak register offers many benefits:
